Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of our interior design app (the "App"), operated by Denis Salaev ("we", "us"). By using the App you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
A few honest words. The App is an AI tool for ideas and inspiration. Its designs are made by an AI model and can be wrong or unrealistic. They are not professional design, architectural or construction advice.
1. The service
The App turns photos of your rooms, house or garden into new design ideas and lets you edit them with words or ready-made options. It needs no account. To make a design, your photo and request are sent to a third-party AI service, as described in the Privacy Policy; the App asks for your consent before the first photo is sent. The App is free to try, and Premium is a paid subscription (section 2). We may add, change or remove features over time.
2. Free designs and Premium
- Without a subscription you can make three designs or edits, one design at a time. A design that fails gives the try back.
- Premium unlocks unlimited designs and edits and up to four designs at once. To keep the service fair and working for everyone, Premium has a limit of 50 designs per 24 hours.
- Premium is an auto-renewable subscription sold by Apple, weekly or monthly, at the price shown in the App before you buy. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your account is charged for the renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- You can manage or cancel the subscription in your device's Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Premium stays on until the end of the period you paid for.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies: request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. Deleting the App does not cancel the subscription.
- If you reinstall the App or move to a new device, tap Restore purchases in Settings to get Premium back.
3. Who may use the App
You must be at least 13 years old and old enough to agree to these terms where you live, or have a parent or guardian's permission.
4. AI-generated results
- Designs are generated automatically. They may change parts of the photo you did not ask to change, show furniture, materials, colors, sizes or lighting that do not exist or would not fit, or look different every time.
- Designs do not represent real products, prices, availability, measurements or structural conditions, unless the App clearly says so.
- Other users may receive similar results, because results come from the same AI model.
- A design can fail or take a while; you can try again.
5. Not professional advice
Designs are for inspiration only. They are not interior design, architectural, engineering, construction, electrical, plumbing, safety or legal advice, and they do not check building codes, permits, load-bearing walls or anything else that matters for real work. Before you renovate, build, remove walls or buy anything, check with qualified professionals. You are responsible for the decisions you make based on the App.
6. Your content and rights
- You keep all rights you have in the photos and text you add ("your content"). Only add content you have the right to use, for example photos you took yourself or have permission to use.
- You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to store, process and send your content to our service providers, only to run the App and make your designs. It ends when your content is deleted.
- As between you and us, you may use the designs you make for any lawful purpose, and we give you any rights we have in them. We cannot promise that a design is protected by copyright in your country or that it does not resemble someone else's work.
- If you show a design to others, for example in a property listing, do not present it as a real photo of the place.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- upload content that is illegal, sexual, violent, hateful or harassing, or that shows minors inappropriately;
- upload photos of people or private places without the right to do so, or content that infringes others' rights;
- use the App to mislead, defraud or impersonate anyone;
- break the rules of the AI providers, including Google's Generative AI Prohibited Use Policy;
- copy, reverse engineer or resell the App, scrape it, overload it, get around its limits or try to access other users' data.
8. Availability and your copies
We work to keep the App running, but it may be unavailable, slow or changed at any time, and we may end it. We do not promise to keep your projects forever: save the designs you care about to Photos.
9. Third-party services
The App relies on third parties, such as the AI service fal.ai, the model maker Google, our hosting provider, Apple for payments and RevenueCat for managing subscriptions. We are not responsible for their services, which run under their own terms.
10. Our property
The App, its design, text, style catalog and other materials we provide belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, revocable, non-transferable license to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, in line with these terms and Apple's Usage Rules.
11. Disclaimer
The App and all designs are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement, to the extent the law allows.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or opportunities, arising from the App or the designs, including costs of renovation or purchases made based on them. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the App in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for intent, gross negligence or injury to life, body or health, or your mandatory consumer rights.
13. Ending use and deleting your data
You can stop using the App at any time. You can delete any design or project in the App, and you can ask us to delete all data linked to your device by emailing support@cotoha.app; details are in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or end your access, and delete content, if you break these terms or to protect the App, other users or us.
14. Apple
- These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App, its content, its maintenance or support, or any claims about it, including product liability, legal compliance and intellectual property claims.
- If the App fails to meet a warranty that applies by law, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price, if any. Apple has no other warranty obligation for the App.
- You confirm that you are not located in a country under a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the effective date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the App. If you keep using the App after a change, the new terms apply.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and disputes go to the courts of Georgia. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live and may bring a claim there.
17. General
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the App. If we do not enforce a term right away, we do not give it up.
